Dior has to find its way in a post-Galliano world

Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom: Christian Dior Show!Dior has to find its way in a post-Galliano world

The Dior show at the Musée Rodin in Paris, is the first Christian Dior ready-to-wear collection designed without input from John Galliano – the designer found guilty of racism and anti-semitism.

Marc Jacobs, remains the favourite. He is the superstar designer with the power to turn imagination into hard cash. Other names who have been mentioned for the Dior job include Haider Ackermann was judged too edgy for the brand and Riccardo Tisci, the designer at Givenchy which is also part of the LVMH group, was doing too well in his current job to move.

Jacobs, who currently designs for Louis Vuitton, has reportedly been in talks with Dior, along with his business partner Robert Duffy.
